Oleksandr Zaiets is the founder and head of the Institute for Religious Freedom. He has legal and theological education. For more than 20 years he has worked in the field of inter-faith dialogue and church-state relations.
As an expert, he provides advice to the religious communities, government, parliament, and local authorities with the aim to establish cooperation between them and protect religious freedom. He has extensive experience in law-making and facilitation.
He is the Moderator of the Religious Freedom Roundtable in Ukraine, which is a platform for dialogue between faith-based organizations, human rights activists, and officials.
