On 12 December 2025, a final meeting of the Coordination Council of the Ukrainian Christian Movement (UCM) was held, during which the results of the Movement’s activities in the current year were summarized and key areas of cooperation and priority tasks for the coming year were discussed. The meeting of the UCM Coordination Council was chaired by Fr. Oleksa Petriv, a representative of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, and took place at the Patriarchal Curia of the UGCC in Kyiv.

Representatives of cluster-based Christian civil society communities of Ukraine reviewed the work of the Ukrainian Christian Movement since its establishment, taking into account the vectors of joint efforts aimed at the spiritual renewal of the Ukrainian people and the transformation of Ukraine, as outlined in the Manifesto of the Ukrainian Christian Movement, as well as the Movement’s organizational development, in particular the formation of the UCM Coordination Council.

The participants of the meeting discussed in detail current issues of the socio-political situation in Ukraine and worldwide, as well as possible responses by the Christian community to the challenges that have arisen. The Coordination Council of the Ukrainian Christian Movement agreed on further steps for cooperation among representatives of various Christian-oriented non-governmental organizations in 2026.

It is worth recalling that the Ukrainian Christian Movement was launched in April 2025 at a joint meeting of the Council of Christian Churches of Ukraine with representatives of Christian non-governmental organizations of Ukraine, following which the Manifesto of the Ukrainian Christian Movement was adopted.
